Kelly Clarkson has been a musician and singer in the United States for more than 20 years. She was crowned American Idol during the first season. It brought her to notoriety and led to a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. Since then she has made several studio albums, including three that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely missed the coveted spot. She is among the most popular artists who made it through American Idol. She started to explore themes and songs after her fame was growing. The uniqueness of her voice and singing abilities earned her critical praise along with a host of high-profile award. Notably, she's won the Grammy Award a record three times. Apart from her professional career in music, she's also been featured on film and television. She has also written the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in various charities.
