Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnnekymes and she were both among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. She was a teenager when she made her debut in the music scene winning local competitions at the age of 10 of age and recording her first album when she was 14 years old. In 1987, she dropped her solo debut album after signing with Rounder Records. After that, she was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs with. Her first album together as a band was released in 1989.
